Edinburgh University Women’s Football Club – opportunity for women players to play football at Edinburgh University in a competitive or recreational environment.

The Women’s 1st team practice twice a week on the new 3G at Peffermill. They play in the British University and College League (BUCS) with games against other universities in Division 1 on Wednesday afternoons. This season runs September to March. The 1st and 2nd team have high standards and players are expected to show a good level of commitment attending as many sessions as possible.

Mike Ross is the head coach for the Women’s 1st Team and also oversees the Women’s 2nd team who are competing in BUCS for the 1st time in 2013-2014 season.

The club also has several social events during the year – including quiz nights, fundraisers and various other social gatherings.
