The Player’s Committee met in George Square on Friday 19th of October. The agenda was set in advance and here are some small excerpts on the meeting;

- Club Improvement Plan
- We discussed the Club 2018/2019 Improvement plan focusing on aspects of Finances, Fundraising, Governance, Communication, Targets and Sports Science and our Community Engagement. This year we are trialling a Community Engagement Officer who will be taking over the running of the Club’s Easter and Summer Camps along with the objective of working with Educated PASS to increase our community outlook.
- Social Media and Website
- We have seen a great improvement so far this year on our Online platforms and are delighted with work that has been achieved. Of course, nothing can stand still and in the coming months look out for new concepts of Month in Review and Players in the Spotlight.
- IM Football
- As there are another 64 Football Teams out-with our Club at the University we have addressed the need to be more open, transparent and inclusive. As a Club we strive for success on and off the pitch which unfortunately means we are unable to cater for Football Players of all levels as of this moment. However, we discussed in great detail the need to more active in our role within the University Community. Our Executive Committee will be meeting with members of the Sports Union in the coming weeks to discuss our relationship and ways in which we can strengthen a mutually beneficial relationship.
There were of course more items that were discussed – but we can’t give too much away! EUAFC is a Club that seeks to move forward at every given opportunity on and off the pitch and we appreciate all the help we get. If you are interested in Assisting with the administrative side of EUAFC, have an interest in football and wish to be part of an exciting project then please do not hesitate in getting in touch. Our next meeting will take place on Friday 2nd November.
